WENN ran into Lionel Richie this week.
The crooner has announced he’s re-teaming with Quincy Jones to re-record famine anthem We are the World, to benefit Haitian earthquake victims.
The original song, written by Jones and Michael Jackson, was released in 1985, featuring Richie, Bruce Springsteen, Bob Dylan, Cyndi Lauper, Billy Joel and other artists. Proceeds from the single benefited African famine relief.
